Digital educational materials for sustainable textile education

The project co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme

The aim of the project is to integrate technology into courses to engage students in learning experiences, whether they are learning in the classroom or remotely. The project explores the potential of virtual reality (VR) to deepen understanding and increase student engagement by eliminating the screen and placing students in real-world situations through the use of VR 360 video.

New teaching materials will be developed with a view to distance learning about textile production at different stages of production, from fibres to garments. The modules will help both vocational students and new employees in the textile sector to reduce the induction time for new employees by combining immersive technologies and inspiring pedagogical content for the best learning outcomes. The project will also cover possible problems during production and offer various opportunities for distance learning.
