PROJECT OBJECTIVE
To develop and disseminate 23 technologically advanced e-learning materials for general education in the natural sciences in the form of 3D models, simulations, virtual tours, maps, and other applications, to support students’ independent learning and their comprehensive, interdisciplinary development from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2028.
The e-materials will place particular emphasis on fostering students’ intellectual engagement and independent work. A key component will be the development of effective learning and self-directed learning skills. Furthermore, these materials will contribute to the development of analytical skills, creativity, problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to self-assess and think critically.
ACTIVITIES
As part of the project, e-materials will be created for the following professions:
Task 1. Content and technical development of 3 virtual tours, adapting them to WCAG standards, phased testing, and publication on ZPE.
Task 2. Content and technical development of 4 interactive maps, adapting them to WCAG standards, phased testing, and publication on ZPE.
Task 3. Content and technical development of 3 virtual simulations, adapting them to WCAG standards, phased testing, and publication on ZPE.
Task 4. Content and technical development of 3 3D models, adapting them to WCAG standards, phased testing, and publication on ZPE.
Task 5. Content and technical development of 10 educational applications, adapting them to WCAG standards, phased testing, and publication on ZPE.
As part of the project, 23 technologically advanced e-learning materials for general education in the natural sciences will be developed and disseminated, covering the following subjects: biology, geography, mathematics, natural science, social studies, history, health education, early childhood education, chemistry, physics, and English. These resources will be made available on the Integrated Educational Platform (ZPE), where they can be widely used in schools and for self-directed learning.
Target groups:
- male and female students in elementary and secondary schools,
- male and female employees of the education system, in particular teachers of early childhood education, general education subjects, and modern foreign languages.
